FoodTest95™ - Food Sensitivity Test

Now available exclusively at Schneider Clinic P.C. FoodTest95™ is an innovative food sensitivity blood test. The test is done right here at Schneider Clinic and takes less than 2 minutes. Through a simple finger prick we are able to determine exactly how you react to 95 of the most common foods. The finger prick is very similar to the way a diabetic checks their blood sugar. Based on these results, our team of doctors, nurses, and certified FoodTest™ staff will provide you with a detailed report and customized food list on how your body reacts to certain foods.

Why Food Test? There is much research pointing to inflammation as being the culprit. A few of these health conditions are heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and cholesterol problems just to name a few. Chronic systemic inflammation is at the root cause of many health challenges facing Americans today.

Food Allergy vs Food Sensitivity - What's The Difference?

The FoodTest95™ is a food sensitivity / food intolerance system. It is NOT a food allergy test. It is important that you understand the difference.

A true Food Allergy looks at the IgE part of your immune system and affects numerous organs in the body. This is typically an immediate reaction. For example, someone might eat a pineapple and break out in a rash right away due to a Food Allergy. Even worse, a person may eat shrimp and their throat immediately starts to swell. In this situation, it might be a very serious anaphylactic reaction. This is NOT what we're testing at Schneider Clinic.

FoodTest95™ tests the IgG portion of your immune system, which is is the DELAYED immune reaction. This can be a 10-12 hour delayed response. Sometimes it can even be up to a 72 hour delayed response. The time frame for a delayed reaction is simply too long to accurately do an elimination diet.

Food sensitivities are generally caused by an inability to digest a certain food. This usually occurs in the digestive tract and NOT the bloodstream, like an allergy. A food sensitivity can't trigger anaphylaxis. However, over time the intolerance can build up and damage the lining in your small intestine. This keeps your body from absorbing the nutrients you need from your food.

Food Allergy vs Food Sensitivity - What Is The Difference?

What Conditions Can Be Helped By FoodTest95?™

Weight Gain and Loss Resistance

Weight gain, weight struggles and weight loss resistance are common symptoms of a food sensitivity or food intolerance. When you eat foods that your immune system doesn't like - or that your immune system reacts to - it causes inflammation to spike. If you're struggling with weight issues it is important to get food tested. In order to finally lose the weight you need to remove the culprits that are wrecking your immune system and digestive system.

Digestive Problems, IBS and Leaky Gut

Many digestive problems can be traced back to a Gluten Sensitivity. When it comes to Leaky Gut Syndrome we know that food sensitivities make the gut lining to inflame and cause dysfunction of the lining. This results in the tight junctions in the gut opening up and allowing bacteria and other particles to leak into the blood stream, which leads to yet another immune response. When this happens, white blood cells (WBS) become elevated and cause the immune system to overwork. White blood cells are the FIRST line of defense against any unwanted pathogens in the body, which is why it is so important to recognize if a food sensitivity is causing your digestive problems. FoodTest95™ can help determine if your body's digestive system is reacting negatively to the foods you are eating.

Food Sensitivities May Cause Migraines

Migraine headaches are a common symptom for a lot of people. A migraine is more than just a bad headache and can be debilitating to those who suffer from it. A migraine has certain characteristics that usually involve one side of the head, throbbing pain and may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and sensitivity to lights and sounds.

Research has shown that there are links between migraines and foods. There is also research that reveals how migraines have an inflammatory component. In order to remove the pro-inflammatory foods you need to find out which foods are causing your body to inflame. FoodTest95™ will reveal exactly what foods are causing a negative reaction and inflammation in your body.

FoodTest95™ will also reveal which foods your body reacts positively to. This is great news for migraine sufferers because research has shown that although certain foods may cause migraines, certain foods can actually prevent and even treat them. For example, foods rich in complex carbohydrates, magenesium, calcium and fiber have been used to treat migraines. Other reports suggest that ginger may help treat, prevent and combat the symptoms of migraines without anny of the side effects of drugs. Ginger contains more than 200 substances in its oils, which is why there are so many benefits of using it. Ginger is believed to block prostiglandins, which stimulate muscle contractions, impacts hormones and controls inflammation.

Ginger contains more than 200 substances in its oils, which is why it has so many different uses. It is believed that ginger may block prostiglandins, which stimulate some muscle contractions, control inflammation and impact some hormones. Therefore migraines may be prevented and stopped by ginger stifling the action of prostiglandins.

The Standard American Diet (SAD) is typically very toxic and contains many processed and pro-inflammatory foods. With all of our busy lives, people tend live more and more off of fast food, carbs, soda, etc. Research shows that sugar causes a huge spike in inflammation, among other negative health effects, when we consume it. As we know, inflammation is the culprit when it comes to many health issues.

Many people think back, muscle and joint pain are just part of the aging process. However, there is a good chance that there's an underlying issue contributing to the pain. FoodTest95™ will reveal which food sensitivities your body is reacting negatively to and causing inflammation. Individuals who take the food intolerance test and reduce or eliminate the pro-inflammatory foods often bring their back, joint and muscle pain to a halt.

Certain foods like dairy, soy, and gluten often come from unclean pasts. For example, there could be antibiotics in dairy, GMOs, and pesticides, all of which trigger inflammatory responses. What's even more surprising is finding out that "healthy" foods you're eating (strawberries, grean beans, spinach, etc.) could actually be causing your body more harm than good. When your body becomes inflamed, the immune complexes can settle in the muscles and joints and can be very painful. The best way of finding out which foods your body is reacting negatively to is by taking the FoodTest95 food sensitivity test.

Research has shown a link between children who have ADHD and food sensitivities/food intolerances. It is important to remove foods that are reacting negatively to your child's immune and digetsive systems in order to begin functioning better. Research shows that digestive problems play a role in children who have ADHD. Taking a food sensitivity test from FoodTest95 can reveal which foods are impacting your child's health.

An estimated 20 million Americans suffer from a low thyroid health issue and another 10 million have gone undiagnosed. A staggering 90% of low tyroid issues are actually a condition called Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. Most people are unaware that this is an autoimmune condition - NOT a thyroid issue.

As we know, the immune system has a large impact on almost all of the body's organs and sytems. Since low thyroid issues are an immune system issue, it is important to take a food sensitivity test from FoodTest95 to see how your immune system reacts to the foods you're eating.
